1. Introduction

SHWDWN ("we", "us", "our") operates the chmbr.io website and SHWDWN mobile application (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

Account information

When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and authentication credentials. Promoters and fighters may additionally provide business details, profile photos, and Stripe Connect onboarding information.

Transaction data

When you purchase tickets or PPV access, we record the transaction details including event, ticket type, quantity, price, and payment status. Payment card details are processed and stored by Stripe — we do not store your card number, CVC, or full card details on our servers.

Usage data

We collect device information, IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and interactions with features such as live streams, event listings, and notifications. This data helps us improve the Service and diagnose issues.

Push notification tokens

If you opt in to push notifications, we store your device push token to deliver event reminders, stream alerts, and ticket confirmations.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account
  • Process ticket and PPV purchases

  • Provide promoter dashboards, staff management, and event tools

  • Send transactional communications (purchase confirmations, event updates)
  • Send optional marketing and promotional notifications (with your consent)
  • Analyse usage patterns to improve the Service
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud and security issues
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. Third-Party Services

We share information with the following categories of third-party service providers, each of which has its own privacy policy governing your data:

  • Supabase — authentication, database, and real-time infrastructure

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Transaction records (ticket purchases, payment history) are retained indefinitely for legal, accounting, and dispute resolution purposes. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 16, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication, and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
